Good Tastes of Tuscany - Culinary Travel experiences and professional Cooking Classes near Florence
ONE DAY LESSON
Is it better to live to eat or eat to live? The Italians believe they are in the first part of this question, whilst the rest for the world fall under the second: the family recipes passed down by word of mouth from one generation to the other are priceless, the table is a center of dispute, laughter, talks and decisions. Comfort, memories and joy are instilled on one’s soul by the simple consumption of a favorite dish. Our aim is to unveil the Good Tastes of Tuscany™. We assure you a memorable experience with the knowledge and professionalism we acquired in many years of work without forgetting the unworried Italian way of life, “La Dolce Vita”, that is part of the Italians DNA. Even now in 2017, the old culinary customs and traditions of Italy’s various Regions and cities are very different to each other due to historical events and climatic influences.
WHAT WE OFFER
Enjoy a rewarding day or two, or even a week, in the unique spacious kitchen of the Renaissance Villa Pandolfini. OUR DIET PROGRAM
The five courses lunch will be enjoyed with Chianti wines produced on the Estate. Our recipes vary according to the season following hat is freshly available on the local market.
The one day cooking experience was so much fun! The hosts and Chef Alberto are gracious and patient, and the surroundings are beautiful. I hope to return for a full week of classes in the future.
We took a train to Lastra a Signa and Emily and June met us at the station. It was like living in a fairy-tale castle. We loved the whole week. The 3 chefs, the cooking classes, the food, the day-trips, the guide in Florence, the owners and their family and staff were all fantastic. So professional!! They couldn’t have done any more for us. We will treasure the memories forever. Ian and Chef Luciano swapped hats, so, Ian now has a chef’s hat and Luciano has a farmers hat.Jan & Ian
Dear friends at Good Tastes of Tuscany,
Once again you outdid yourself….so thankful for the private class you gave my family (5 of us) on June 12, 2018 with Luciano. He is so good with children and his knowledge of food…..beyond expectations. I will definitely be back to Florence because it is my favorite city and also take the course again. Celebrating my 70th birthday was an extra special touch.
Thank you for the memories!Jo Ann
