Is it better to live to eat or eat to live? The Italians believe they are in the first part of this question, whilst the rest for the world fall under the second: the family recipes passed down by word of mouth from one generation to the other are priceless, the table is a center of dispute, laughter, talks and decisions. Comfort, memories and joy are instilled on one’s soul by the simple consumption of a favorite dish. Our aim is to unveil the Good Tastes of Tuscany™. We assure you a memorable experience with the knowledge and professionalism we acquired in many years of work without forgetting the unworried Italian way of life, “La Dolce Vita”, that is part of the Italians DNA. Even now in 2017, the old culinary customs and traditions of Italy’s various Regions and cities are very different to each other due to historical events and climatic influences.

Enjoy a rewarding day or two, or even a week, in the unique spacious kitchen of the Renaissance Villa Pandolfini. You can attend hands-on cooking lessons with one of our qualified Italian chefs who will teach you all the tricks and techniques of the Authentic Tuscan cuisine. We offer a shuttle from Florence center. Your accommodations will be on a wine and olive estate close to Florence in the beautiful Villa Pandolfini. Erected in the 1200s as a hunting house by the Pandolfini family, the forest nearby the villa was used as hunting land by their family and friends. Register early because enrollment is limited!

This villa is simply stunning and is as gorgeous as it looks on the pictures. With beautiful and spacious rooms, breathtaking panoramic views over vineyards and Florence, wild rabbits jumping around, fire flies appearing in the dark, and absolute tranquility, the villa was the perfect setting for a large family escaping the hectic everyday life. Furthermore, the hosts were very kind indeed, eager to help, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommendable.

We took a train to Lastra a Signa and Emily and June met us at the station. It was like living in a fairy-tale castle. We loved the whole week. The 3 chefs, the cooking classes, the food, the day-trips, the guide in Florence, the owners and their family and staff were all fantastic. So professional!! They couldn’t have done any more for us. We will treasure the memories forever. Ian and Chef Luciano swapped hats, so, Ian now has a chef’s hat and Luciano has a farmers hat.

Our visit to Taste of Tuscany with my family was one of my personal favorites two summers ago when i travelled with my husband, aunt and mother-in-law, so i would personally like to thank you for providing a wonderful theme-style destination for me to talk about! Your cooking class exceeded all expectations. We look forward to showcasing many great trips and providing quality travel tips.
